Ok... Here's the GOOD stuff I have been telling you about... A Mother's Day giveaway. Many shops have been asked to participate in this giveaway just in time for MOTHER'S DAY. I'm pumped about this giveaway, it's just in time for MOTHER'S DAY!! It will run from April 26th-May 1st! I want you to be able to get you FREE items in time for Mom's Day, if you so choose to give it away that is... Ok, enough babble, here's how it works...

On EACH item that you want to enter in for the giveaway make sure you comment on it INDIVIDUALLY, on the BLOG post for that item for EACH way you followed the featured item, be sure you leave YOUR email address with each item post so that I can get ahold of you, if the email was not left that COMMENT is DISQUALIFIED... I don't want any DQ'D comments so please READ the RULES carefully, it's pretty easy and straight forward...

Oh my goodness... Its been too long since I have been able to sit down and actually spend some quality time with my blog. I'm not complaining since the lack of time translates into my wonderful hubby staying busy with his work as a contractor, I thank the Lord everyday for this blessing... :) 

I'm happy to announce that there will be some fun stuff happening soon!! Hopefully I can get it up for you, shooting for about next Wednesday but we will see. You won't want to miss out on this!! Too many great things to list out now, but don't worry soon enough they will be up for your little eyes to feast on. So keeping following and spread the word... The more you spread the more chances to have to win. (Oops I kinda let the cat out of the bag,  quick stuff her back in just for another week.) I hope to use this blog as a source to share my thoughts, faith, finds and the cute things my toddler says... Well they are cute to me. I love an awesome deal, after the economy took a dumper I realized the important things in life aren't material things but what is important are your family and friends. I'm not saying I valued material items over my family before but it always seemed to be a game with, I went here and did this and that and blah blah blah. Well that's not me or who I want to be. I realized that if I can save money, even if that means clipping coupons and doing the hunt for that cheaper price I DO IT! Its kind of turned into a game to me, my husband giggles cuz I have actually jumped up and down in excitement over how inexpensive I got something... For example I was able to purchase a popular photography magazine subscription for 2.99 a year vs the regular 54 bucks, that was a jump up and down moment!! My faith helps me everyday... I THANK Jesus for sticking by my bratty side. I used to be a little twerp and now I cringe thinking about I would react to something. I know it is a part of life learning and growing up and all that but seriously I should have been locked in my room with water and bread to eat after I threw attitude like I did my senior year of high school... OK, this is getting long so here it is, throw in comments, deals you find, random thoughts you have, awesome GOD stories or whatever your little heart desires... I'd love to hear from you. Also some awesome shops that I love and have built some unique relationships with will be featured on here... so GIVEAWAYS for sure and who knows what else!!! YAY

Pretty excited about some fun ideas I came up with tonight! My favorite would have to be the cancer awareness cuffs. I'm hoping to really get these going in an effort to raise awareness along with donating 50% of each sale to a local baby who is currently fighting cancer. I just want to do something to help and maybe this way I can incorporate something that I love doing to help someone else as well.

Ahhh... I finally did it!!~

Well I finally took the plunge. I see so many people doing what they love and I don't know why I have been so nervous to do the same. I love to make things, and think of new creative ways to do things. So I actually opened my Etsy shop and posted my first item for sale! Hopefully in the next week I can add more once more of my material comes in. I can't wait till it gets here! I will be able to do so much with it. My wheels are just turning with all the fun stuff that can be done...


I love the feeling of finishing a project and it turning out the way you had envisioned. I know so many times I have been disappointed in the turn out. I know I am a perfectionist and I expect myself to do it the way I vision it the first time but I am learning through trial and error that I can't be perfect and stop trying to be. I guess to many this wouldn't seem like a big deal but to me it seems like I have funny climbed that mountain!!
