 I Love my Jesus, love my husband, love my babies! I have an amazing husband and have two GORGEOUS baby boys! Just 17 months apart! I love sewing! My mama has been my teacher since I was little and has taught me everything she knows! My true love when it comes to sewing is quilting. I love quilting and I love using the creativity that Jesus gave me to make truly unique things. Lani is the loving name family and friends use for me.

As a young girl, a family friend taught me how to string beads during a trying time in my family-life.  I've been creating jewelry since I was that young 12-year old girl... the true impact of my friend's creative nurturing was immensely important to my growth as an artist and a woman!
Fast-forward many years.... with my husband’s loving support, I spent a year of intense and fun days studying metal-smithing and gemology at The Gemological Institute of America.

Undeniably, creating jewelry is important to me, so when I travel I’m always on the look out for beads, baubles, shells, and other objects that I can use as I’m creating. Sooo... I’m able to add some of the ‘love’ of that location into that piece of jewelry… be it London, Bali, New Zealand… the wearer has a piece of love and energy from a location around the world! I also incorporate my signature green seed bead into my designs, this bead signifies my love of  the ocean and the earth!

Oh my goodness... Its been too long since I have been able to sit down and actually spend some quality time with my blog. I'm not complaining since the lack of time translates into my wonderful hubby staying busy with his work as a contractor, I thank the Lord everyday for this blessing... :) 

I'm happy to announce that there will be some fun stuff happening soon!! Hopefully I can get it up for you, shooting for about next Wednesday but we will see. You won't want to miss out on this!! Too many great things to list out now, but don't worry soon enough they will be up for your little eyes to feast on. So keeping following and spread the word... I hope to use this blog as a source to share my thoughts, faith, finds and the cute things my toddler says... Well they are cute to me. I love an awesome deal, after the economy took a dumper I realized the important things in life aren't material things but what is important are your family and friends. I'm not saying I valued material items over my family before but it always seemed to be a game with, I went here and did this and that and blah blah blah. Well that's not me or who I want to be. I realized that if I can save money, even if that means clipping coupons and doing the hunt for that cheaper price I DO IT! Its kind of turned into a game to me, my husband giggles cuz I have actually jumped up and down in excitement over how inexpensive I got something... For example I was able to purchase a popular photography magazine subscription for 2.99 a year vs the regular 54 bucks, that was a jump up and down moment!! My faith helps me everyday... I THANK Jesus for sticking by my bratty side. I used to be a little twerp and now I cringe thinking about I would react to something. I know it is a part of life learning and growing up and all that but seriously I should have been locked in my room with water and bread to eat after I threw attitude like I did my senior year of high school... OK, this is getting long so here it is, throw in comments, deals you find, random thoughts you have, awesome GOD stories or whatever your little heart desires... I'd love to hear from you. Also some awesome shops that I love and have built some unique relationships with will be featured on here... so GIVEAWAYS for sure and who knows what else!!! YAY
